I think my art is like a window to show the good side of the world, a vehicle for carrying messages of joy, and a celebration of life. I use strong and vibrant colors to wake up the child that lives in every spectator.
As an artist and a person, acting with senses and feelings, I would say that art works speak more than words. I let my creations reveal themselves. They alone speak truths which inspire me to do the works.
The roots of my inspiration can be found in the colors of my native country Colombia and ancient cultures of America with ancient and modern graphics and symbols. My work is influenced by cultural movements like pop art, cubism, urban art, and comics. I unite multicultural and ethnic diversity in my works using traditional painting techniques and digital technology, reconstituting them through my vision, memory and my imagination. My sources of inspiration are love, music, nature, feminity, the earth and dreams.
