FWADA DADA Art Show, Fort
Worth, Texas. July 6th - July 30th 2013
Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA) will present Selections: DADA with art by artists represented by LuminArte Gallery and David Dike Fine Art beginning Saturday, July 6 at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, located at 1300 Gendy Street in Fort Worth, Texas. The exhibition, a collaboration between DADA and Fort Worth Art Dealers Association (FWADA), will continue through Tuesday, July 30. Hours for the Fort Worth Community Arts Center are Mondays – Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
There will be a reception on Friday, July 12 from 6 – 9 p.m. and a panel discussion on Tuesday, July 16 from 7 – 8 p.m. The panel topic will be Art vs. Commodity: What is the value in art? Panelists will include an art appraiser, a museum representative, an art dealer, an art writer/critic, and an art auction house representative.
LuminArte will be exhibiting a wide range of local, regional, and international talent, including late and mid-career artists such as H.M. Saffer II, Ron Burkhardt, Robin Antar, Esther Wertheimer, Leanne Venier, Lee Ables, Katrin Alvarez, Shawn Man Roland, Mark Vey,Alejandro Leyva, Ted Barr, and Li Haibing in the media of painting, ceramics, sculpture, and photography.
