"Imagine" An International Exhibition October 6 – October 28 2012
As the Dallas Design District continues to flourish and diversify, so does LuminArté Gallery; and almost a year after hosting the International Biennale Artists group for a well received exhibition of over 40 contemporary artists representing 17 countries, LuminArté is once again proud to welcome the International Biennale Artists in a special selection of noteworthy art professionals.
"Imagine," an international art exhibition scheduled from October 6-28, is the realization of the International Biennale Artists group founder, Elisha Ben-Yitzhak, who after many years of exhibiting his artwork worldwide, has chosen a core group of artists whom he personally feels reflect the ideal of Arete, the classical Greek concept of excellence.
Award winning, New York artist Robin Antar is the first female artist to exhibit at NYC’s POP International Galleries complimenting such artists as Jean-Michael Basquiat, Keith Haring, Mark Kostabi, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol among others. “My passion as a sculptor involves a technique I uncovered more than 20 years ago — the precise art of creating "virtual records" of contemporary culture — capturing common, everyday items in stone.”
Polish born artist Esther Wertheimer, winner of the Gold Medal of Lorenzo il Magnifico award at the Florence Biennale, has had an extensive career, inspiring a new generation of artists with her monumental bronze sculptures, which are displayed internationally and include her thirteen-foot Primavera installation in front of the new City Hall in Fukuoka, Japan.
